Find Your Inner Child.

Remember the days where your biggest concern was what color crayon to use or which toy to play with? Whether to play inside or outside? The slide or the swing? It is funny how as we age so does our priorities and concerns. Remember the days where everything was brand new and an adventure? When someone ask us what we wanted to be when we grew up...we would reply with "I am going to be a doctor!" "I am going to be a super hero!" "I am going to be a superstar!" We always replied with confidence and replied with "I am going to be....!" It seems the older we get, the more we start doubting ourselves. We go from "I am going to be...." to "I wish I could be..." or "I hope to be..." We cut ourselves short. We doubt our abilities and question our talents.

All of us still have our inner child hidden somewhere deep inside of us. I think it is safe to say that we need to find our inner child a little more often. Instead of seeing road blocks as obstacles....see them as an adventure to overcome. Just as we would have done as a child. As a child we have no serious fears, except for maybe the monsters under the bed. We believe we are capable of anything. Jumping off the couch? Oh well, it will only hurt for a few minutes. Mom or Dad will put some magic medicine on it and the pain will disappear. Maybe we should view every situation like that. We may fall down before we get it right but with a little magic inner child confidence....everything will be okay! How are we ever going to know what we are fully capable of by just sitting on the sidelines saying..."I wish" or "I hope". Instead we need to say "I am going to" or "I will, you just watch me!"

Dig deep inside yourself to find the confidence you once had as a child. Live your life to its full potential. Chase your dreams. Make your own path. Do what YOU want to do in your life. Find your inner child and live again!
